An intelligent and curious child, Chailai always sought out more to make up for her lack of sight. When her quirk manifested at five years old, this was her chance to break from her sheltered life.

An aunt on her mother's side who owned a martial arts training facility would take Chailai into her care to help her train and control her quirk. Having a similar quirk to her niece, Chailai's aunt becomes a second mother to Chailai.

When the opportunity came, Chailai made her mark when she passed the entrance exam of the hero academy her country had. Attending this prestigious school, her talents would be noted by her peers. Her outgoing personality gave her plenty of friends and plenty of praise from her educators.

She would graduate with top marks after tireless hours of training. Chailai would excel in her field of combat, using her other senses to help her navigate her city and fight crime. Gifted with support gear designed by her aunt, Chailai makes her debut appearance as the Invincible Hero: Mirage.

Born blind in Southern Thailand, Chailai was fortunate enough to be born into a family with wealth. Upon realizing that she would not be able to see, her parents made it their priority to protect their seemingly vulnerable daughter.

Afraid of the chance of a villain stealing their daughter away for ransom, Chailai was constantly watched by trained guards and nannies. Due to their own business endeavors, Chailai's parents wasn't so involved in her developing years.

Chailai's relationship with her aunt would be the huge push she needed to pursue a hero career. Her parents were against the idea as they stuck to their idea that her disability wouldn't allow such fever dreams. Chailai continued her studies and training regardless of her parents' rejection of her dreams

Her aunt remained a strong pillar of her success, providing Chailai with the skills and tools needed to give her a good standing for her heroic career. Being trained in the southeast Asian martial arts of lethwei, with swordsmanship training with her own, personal katana and the increased speed and mobility of her quirk, Chailai had a deadly arsenal of power to ensure her success.

Special Moves

Flash Forward- Pushing the speed of her frames as if she's 'fast forwarding', she can instantaneously appear in another place, her after-images appearing as mere blurs behind her.

Reverse Shot- Phasing through an enemy, she 'replays' her frames in the reverse order to deal an attack from the back to the front.

Glitch Barrage- Pushing her frames and speed to 50+, she appears to be 'glitching' in and out of the air. This allows her strike her opponent in a rapid succession in order to wear them down.

Chailai's main weapon: This katana was a gift from her aunt when she finally graduated from her hero course. Forged and made specially for her, she would later have it upgraded to be proper support gear. With her lack of sight, Chailai has trained herself to recognize the distinct swing of her blade and the differences it makes when it makes contact with something or someone. It is to the exact extension of herself.

Chailai's blindfold: With her lack of sight, Chailai has decided to wear a blindfold to hide the upper portion of her face. Her blindfold is a support item, it assist her sensory reactions by sending electrical impulses that aids in increasing her perception without her eyes. With her others senses trained to beyond superhuman means, the blindfold adds to those skills of hers.
